Welcome to Circolo – our sunny Sicilian trattoria in the heart of London’s lively Fitzrovia district. We are a group of pals, 130 completely crazy Italians. And this neighborhood already feels like home. Our Chef Gennaro has created a crazy menu from our incredible Italian products. It offers, among other things, our Carbonara served in a pecorino wheel, Neapolitan pizzas with Italian ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes and fresh mozzarella – and to top it off, our scandalous desserts featuring our caramelised, chocolate covered profiterole and famous zingy lemon pie, size XXL.

Circolo is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. In summer, there are 60 incredible seats in our sunny Sicilian terrace. Go through the door and enjoy the ride!

We have a limited number of tables for walk-ins. We will always do our very best to accommodate, but please be aware it isn’t always possible. Therefore, we recommend checking our booking options below too.

For a date or a meeting with a few friends, la squadra Circolo Popolare offers reservations for certain tables up to 7 persons. Please note bookings open at 9am, one month in advance of a date and all booking availability is displayed here on the website.

Why don’t you take reservations ?



We use amazing products that come directly from amazing producers located in Italy. We only serve fresh, 100% made-in-house food. And in order to stay in the spirit of the authentic Italian trattorias we love so much, we offer a menu that’s as affordable as possible. The reality is that latecomers and cancelled reservations represent an enormous cost for restaurants. In order to be able to offer quality products at affordable prices, we have to ensure that all our seats are filled. Either we accommodate a lot of people, or we make a lot of profit.

Plus, there’s advantages to not having to reserve 2 months in advance just to eat a pizza ! To put it simply : we understand that not taking reservations can be inconvenient for our diners, but we have to weigh this consideration against the fact that we’re trying to offer high value-for-money by squeezing our margins. To make things just a little bit easier, we’ve put in place a wait-list system whereby our hostess take your name and telephone number and call you when your table is ready.
